Jealousy is embarrassing to feel, isn't it? Especially when you love the person. You're happy for them. You are. But also, something in you aches 😬 They got the chance, the love, the body, the family, the calm, the apartment, the attention, the answer you've been begging life for. And now you're trying to be mature while your heart is quietly making a face.
You're not evil for feeling jealous 🌙🤍 You're human. Jealousy is often just grief wearing a less polite outfit. It points at something you wanted, something you miss, something that feels unfair. You don't have to feed it until it becomes resentment. But you also don't have to pretend it isn't there. Say, 'Ouch, I wanted that too.' That's honest. Then bless them if you can, step back if you need to, and remind yourself their blessing is not proof that yours got canceled. There is still room for your life to surprise you 🌱
