Your brain thinks it's helping. That's the annoying part 😭 It keeps showing you every possible disaster like a very dramatic movie trailer. What if they leave? What if you fail? What if you get sick? What if the money runs out? What if one awkward sentence ruins everything forever?
But rehearsing pain doesn't always protect you from it 🚨 Sometimes it just makes you suffer early, repeatedly, with terrible lighting. You can prepare a little without living in the emergency. Write down what you can actually do. One action. One call. One saved number. One small plan. Then stop letting fear demand unlimited screen time in your head 📺🤍 Tonight, tell your brain, 'Thank you, but we're not watching this again.' It may keep talking. That's okay. You don't have to follow every thought into the basement. Come back to the pillow. Come back to the breath. Come back to now 🌙
