Self-improvement can become so noisy. Heal this. Fix that. Wake up earlier. Eat better. Be calm. Be confident. Be soft, but not too soft. Have boundaries, but don't be mean. Rest, but also grind 😭 At some point it starts feeling like you're a house under renovation forever, with dust everywhere and no couch to sit on.
Tonight, you don't need to turn your pain into a lesson 🕯️ You don't need to analyze every feeling until it becomes neat. You don't need to become the most mature, healed, emotionally balanced version of yourself before you're allowed to sleep. You're not a broken appliance. You're a human being. Yes, growth matters. Yes, accountability matters. But so does tenderness. So does letting yourself be tired without writing a report about it 🤍 Maybe tonight the work is no work. Maybe the brave thing is letting the blanket cover you without mentally listing everything wrong with you. Maybe healing sometimes sounds like, 'Not right now. I'm exhausted.' That's allowed. You can continue becoming tomorrow. For now, unclench. Put the imaginary clipboard down. You are worthy of rest even with the messy parts still messy.
